Respicardia  |  Realtime 3D Interactive Application

Delivering a new paradigm in medical device education.

Challenge: Respicardia received FDA approval of their new and novel therapy (remede® System) for the treatment of Central Sleep Apnea. Their challenge was to successfully engage with Electrophysiologists to increase early adoption, product acceptance and add to the number of qualified implanters... using breakthrough training technology. Solution: In collaboration with Respicardia, Propulsion designed and developed a revolutionary, non-linear, 3D Real time Interactive Training Application that gave Electrophysiologists the ability to learn about anatomy and experience how to implant the device in real time. Result: Feedback from the Electrophysiologists who participate in Respicardia's training (i.e. Bob and Corrine Frick Chair in Cardiac Electrophysiology, Associate Professor of Medicine, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, OH, USA) scored the Training Application a 5+ across the board, on a scale of 1-5, commenting that this was better interactive training than what other leading medical device companies provide.
