Dynamically demonstrate a technology that isn’t fully commercialized

Challenge: 3M wanted to unveil their “still-in-development” Grid Analytics Software and Hardware technology at their National Sales Meeting as well as create buzz and get customer feedback at industry trade shows. Since the only available visualization for the entire product line was in raw CAD form, 3M needed help to tell their technology story in a compelling way. Solution: Collaborating with the marketer and several different engineering teams within 3M, Propulsion created an informative VR experience of the product line and designed two unique virtual above and below ground environments that could be explored using Mobile VR and stand-alone VR viewers. Result: The VR experience was a “big-hit” at the National Sales Meeting and the Trade show guests were able to engage with and visually experience the advantages of 3M Grid Analytics software and hardware.If you are interested in exploring how Propulsion can help your business, Click here or call Jon at 651-642-1067.
